About

The purpose of Thoughtful Faith is to help bring clarity, understanding, and knowledge founded on God’s truths to a world where questioners are plentiful and answerers often few.

I’m by no means an expert. I, like many of you, am a curious student and I don’t have all the answers. I have a Bachelor’s in Biology but no background in Apologetics. For a long time, I did not feel qualified to start a blog talking about these subjects. Then I took a look at youtube and realized you don’t need to have a Ph. D. to speak out. Sure, it’s probably helpful.

But apologetics isn’t only for scholars. It’s for everyone.

Apologetics has become a hobby of mine as I seek to learn and understand. I hold it dear, because through God’s grace and apologetics I was brought back to the Christian faith. I am human and definitely capable of making errors. If you see anything that you believe is incorrect or even misrepresented on this blog, I ask that you send me an e-mail or comment explaining. Please back up your viewpoint with scholarly sources. I will look into each case and determine if I need to edit. I would like to keep the information on this blog as accurate as possible.

     I enjoy meaningful discussion.
I am genuinely interested in hearing your viewpoint, even if you do not have scholarly sources to back it up, as long as you present it in a respectful manner. I may not agree with you. But I certainly don't want to give the impression, "Only post comments if you agree with me on everything." Just keep the dialogue respectful and we should get along just fine. =) I do not wish to offend anyone, however, offending no one, when you have an opinion, is simply impossible.

1 Peter 3:15
“but sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense (apologia) to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence”
